Advanced Placement® Program (AP®)

Advanced Placement® Program (AP®)

Advanced Placement is a national curriculum program of the College Board. These are often considered as the most rigorous courses offered in high school; being taught at the university level, they give the student the opportunity to complete college-level work, developing stronger critical thinking, writing, and comprehension skills. All students enrolled in MCA AP courses take the end of year national exam. MCA students’ exam scores overall are well above the national and state averages.  Students may earn college credit based upon their exam score and college policy.
